As I inch closer and closer to graduating with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from WTAMU this May, I find myself at a crossroad. I’m definitely going to take a semester off to 1) concentrate on finding new employment, and 2) rest and rejuvenate. Working a 40+ hours per week job and going to school full-time has been taxing. But I know that I want to go back for a master’s degree. And I don’t want to wait too long to do so. The only questions are: Where? And which program? I have several alternatives lined up. Where you at? – Location-Based Social Networking

First came MySpace, the first hit social networking site that gave members an html canvas to express themselves. MySpace was slowly dethroned as the leader in social networking by Facebook. And then along came Twitter, its micro-blogging little brother. Good to be Back: My Facebook Fast is Finished

For those of you who didn’t know, I participate in the Catholic tradition of Lent each year. For the 40 days preceding Easter, Catholics abstain from one thing they do often. This year I chose to fast from social networking sites. More specifically: Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. I could speak of the matter and its religious connotations.
